Kfir Sharabi

Principal investigator

Kfir completed his PhD at the Hebrew University and his postdoctoral training at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School.
He studies how molecular pathways regulate liver metabolism and metabolic disease. Outside the lab, he enjoys spending time
at the beach.

Rachel Barkan-Michaeli

lab manager

Rachel received her PhD from the Hebrew University and worked as a teacher for several years before joining the lab.
She manages the lab and leads a project investigating how chemokine signaling through CXCR7 and related GPCRs regulates liver metabolism in metabolic disease.
Outside the lab, she enjoys Pilates and yoga.

Naama Miron-Meir

PhD student

Naama holds a B.Sc. in Nutrition
from the Hebrew University and
is a Registered Dietitian.
She works on hormonal regulation
of hepatic mitochondria.
She is an early riser.

Hadar Bar Dagan

PhD student

Hadar holds degrees in Nutrition
and Economics from the Hebrew University
and is a Registered Dietitian.
Her work focuses on mitochondrial biology
in liver metabolism.
She is the lab’s Head of Fun.

Roni is an undergraduate student
at the Hebrew University
and works on mitochondrial biology
in liver metabolism.
She spends her free time
running marathons.
